E-liquids are those that produce “steam when inhaled” and come in a wide variety of flavors. They exist with aromas and flavors ranging from chocolate ice cream to vanilla ice cream through the entire range of existing fruits, flavors to creamy coffees, tropical drinks, chiclets, liquors, CBD vape juice and fruits.
The e-liquid bottles can be purchased in a wide variety of sizes and prices. Most vapers (people who no longer smoke and now vape) use about 2ml a day, so with a 60ml supply per month you should be fine, although this can vary greatly depending on how you vape.
All components of the e-liquid are in principle suitable for human consumption, except nicotine, which in specific quantities can be toxic.
If you are a new “vaper”, the terms “USP Propylene Glycol” also known as (PG) and “USP Vegetable Glycerin” also known as (VG) will soon be part of your vocabulary. PG and VG are the respective acronyms used for these elements.
All e-liquids are composed of varying amounts of these five ingredients:
Propylene Glycol USP (PG): To vape must be a strictly pharmaceutical grade or USP. This is the element that generates steam. It is a safe substance since it is also used as an additive for asthma inhalers without known adverse severe effects and as a food additive in many foods. It can be said that it is a compound with minimal risk. It is also used in conventional cigarettes to provide moisture to tobacco.
Vegetable Glycerin (GV): To vape must be a strictly pharmaceutical grade or USP. It is also called glycerol. It is hypo-allergic, it is not carcinogenic, it is not teratogenic, and it is not mutagenic. It is metabolized by a well-known process called beta-oxidation. Vegetable glycerin is safe when ingested, inhaled, or comes into contact with the skin.
Nicotine: The concentration of nicotine in vaping liquids ranges from 0.0mg / ml to 18 mg/ml. Even with higher concentrations, they are not recommended. Nicotine is also used as an agricultural insecticide. Make sure the nicotine in your liquid is pharmaceutical grade.
Aromatic agents – Food type aromas that give it the flavor. To inhale them safely they must be soluble in water.
Deionized distilled water – in some cases and optional.
PG And VG – Water Premiums
An E-liquid needs a medium to function properly. The support keeps nicotine and flavors in suspension and turns into steam quickly when heat is applied. These are the works that Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin carry out in e-liquids; PG and/or VG make up the bulk of what each e-liquid contains. Both are essentially non-toxic to humans and are considered safe “for consumption by the FDA,” so they are already being consumed in processed foods.

Compared with Vegetable Glycerin, Propylene Glycol is thinner and has less of its flavor. An e-liquid that contains all or most PG may work better in some electronic cigarettes than in others. When used alone, PG produces less steam. In general, an e-liquid composed entirely of PG may have better-defined flavors than one in VG as a whole.
Benefits of VG in E-liquids
By itself, Vegetable Glycerin has a sweet taste. In an e-liquid, therefore, you may have specific taste notes a little harder to detect. Also, VG is a thicker liquid than PG, so the vapor it produces is much larger and denser.
